Induction part 2 and 3

Day 2 I walk into the creative studios and who do I see  James Fox AKA Foxy who turned out to be partially insane as he slipped off his shoes and started to explain the main forms of media and what brings it all together by shouting and sectioning media into SOUND! TV! AND FILM! and this was probably one of the highlights of this induction week as he turned the boring class rules into a cavalcade of life story's and many of James's embarrassments and successes but the major part of this day I was looking forward to was the filming stage.

This was set to be done after lunch and as soon as we got back from lunch we divide into the cringe filming process of possible the best story ever created and as me as the camera man, Palina as the Director and Nathan and Jack as the glorious actors we set to work acquiring a camera from the Springboard lads Scott and Richie and set to film in the little garden at the back of the reception block the best scene in our short film was when Nathan raised the umbrella announcing that he had the umbrella which was possibly the best line ever spoken in a short film as soon as the recording stopped we all burst into laughter.

After we finished filming the small scenes we went to the computers to look at the footage and the worst thing that could happen occurred the entire film was overexposed. We immediately shat our selves as we rushed to try and fix this and then the saviour arrived as Justin swooped in and fixed the brightness and contrast settings and this was the last major parts of this day but I realised on the printed timetable it said tomorrow our group was going to be split down the middle. Now I'm worried.

Day 3 todays the day we edit our film and then get split in half .

we first had a tour of the LRC were we found out how to log study time and were to study and research which was great we also went to the Fresher's Fair which was like Solo overhyped and a massive disappointment but we got to the editing stage where Justin taught us the basics of the ADOBE editing software which looked so confusing but Foxy along with Justine helped us wrap our heads round the software and the editing was a breeze but it was announced to us that the new Level 2s were going to watch our films and we were all in shock and horror but Ill let you judge our film.

After premiering our short film Justin reveals our new groups and by some luck I was placed with my friend so everything is looking up and I'm looking forward towards the next 2 years of fun.
