Audio

20-20000 hz is the amount you can hear and eventually decreases over time.
and if you say nothing and record it its cal wild track.

Wavelength

This is audio level meter and the entire time while editing you must avoid distortion the audio meter measure the increase by going compared to the ppm meter.

In a tv show what you can hear is voice/dialogue and the level is 5.5ppm
SFX are at 3 ppm and music is at 4ppm.

sound and recording

with sound we would record left and right sound and that equals to 2 channels and you would usually have an onboard mic and that you also have an external mike which is a boom and the boom has a direct mic shotgun/rifle mic or a 416.

you should separate the two pics onto the 2 channels onboard and boom and you do this to back up any sound just in case one mic stops recording or the file might corrupt.

in the frame of a close shot type you adapt you sound to the shot.

Key Words
